9th day - from Eisenach to Wünschensuhl

Hello dear ones,

Today we had a more relaxed 20 km hike through beautiful forests.

For breakfast, we had strawberries with sweetened condensed milk this time. Delicious!

We left Eisenach and passed by the Wartburg Castle, through wonderful green deciduous forests. It had rained a little during the night and in the morning, but the day was very pleasant for hiking. Additionally, the Via Regia followed the Rennsteig trail for 4km here.

One of the photos shows a mountain that doesn't fit into the landscape at all and looks quite grotesque. In the next post, there will be another photo from a closer distance and you will also find out what exactly this 'thing' is.
