Now we embark on our train journey on the longest continuous railway line in the world, 9,288 kilometers from Moscow to Vladivostok.

On May 31, 1891, the future Tsar Nicholas II laid the foundation stone for the construction of the Trans-Siberian Railway in Vladivostok on the Pacific coast.

The challenges faced during the construction of this railway line were enormous. At times, more than 90,000 workers were employed to lay the tracks. The Siberian cold made life almost unbearable in winter, while in summer, workers drowned in the mud along the route. Nevertheless, they managed to complete the Trans-Siberian Railway within 25 years, although tens of thousands lost their lives in the process.

We start our first mini stage of 280 kilometers to Yaroslavl.

After the Allegro and Sapsan trains, it is now time to gradually adapt to Trans-Siberian standards. But here too, the Russian Railways are punctual to the second 😊
