8th Day Addo Elephant Park - Graaff Reinet

Today our tour takes us through the Klein Karoo region to the next highlight. The historic town of Graaff Reinet, with its over 200 protected buildings, is one of the oldest places in the country.

With a bit of luck, we might catch a glimpse of the resident baboons along the way.

We drive through a winding road to the Valley of Desolation. At the viewpoint, after a short walk, you will have a fantastic view of the valley and the Karoo.

Additional Note: Going on a group tour brings together strangers and different characters, but after the first 1000 km, it becomes a tight-knit group. Driving in a group requires discipline and attention from every driver, especially in South Africa where we drive on the left side.

Upon arrival at the hotel, we will enjoy our first ice-cold beer and exchange impressions and experiences of the day.
