First, we went along the left side of the Elbe river, passing by Pillnitz Castle... At the "Carolabrücke" bridge, we changed sides of the Elbe river and had a beautiful view of the baroque city of Dresden just a few minutes away.Dresden [/uploads/0395fef0-613a-11e9-ba65-155efbd10b9e.jpg_large.jpg] Afterwards, we continued quickly on the well-developed and signposted Elbe Cycle Path towards Meißen. In the market square of the picturesque town of Altkötzschenbroda, we took a coffee break for some refreshment.[/uploads/6ac66630-613c-11e9-ba65-155efbd10b9e.jpg_large.jpg] We arrived in Meißen in the early afternoon, passing through Radebeul and Coswig. Since we were able to recharge our batteries in a beer garden just before Meißen, we had enough energy for a few extra kilometers.
