Start in Hiroshima, quickly store the luggage elsewhere (it will be retrieved from the locker on the 4th day and stored somewhere else), it took longer by train than expected/anticipated. Well, hope for the best.

Especially when the first train started in the opposite direction, I knew it could be a longer journey - but that's part of it.
Otherwise, I would have never discovered and bought the maple leaf-shaped sweets and enjoyed them.

I arrived in the evening - hungry, tired, and it was cold!

So off to the Izakaya to enjoy Udon noodles.

Easter at Mt. Fuji, revealing its full splendor - well then, it's definitely worth a short night to see the sunrise :)
At Arakurayama Park, there's a lot going on at sunrise, but a photo can be quickly taken and then it's time to enjoy the sunrise.

There's an amusement park near the mountain - a 'must' - as long as I don't have a fear of heights.

It's a bit chilly and there's a strong breeze on the 50m high Ferris wheel.

The roller coasters are ridden either with or without shoes, but definitely without valuables, even the earrings have to come off!

Since they are also in the Guinness World Records, I had high expectations - but soooo mind-blowing?

Here's a little glimpse - https://www.fujiq.jp/en/

It's simply exciting and this adrenaline rushing through my body - it tingles and tingles.

Crazy!

I almost missed the sunset at the lake, but the mountain still shows its most beautiful side.

Then I cooked a little for myself again - well, grilled :)

Back in my capsule bed, I quickly fell asleep, exhausted and tired.
If you don't want to talk to anyone, a capsule like this is really suitable - but it's also okay for a little 'privacy'.

On April 11th, I explored the area a bit more and then continued to the first stay at the Ryokan - Traditional Japanese hotel with a communal bath - it deserves an extra mention.
