To clear my head, I did packet stress and urban cliff jumping

Next stop after Jaisalmer was Jodhpur - the blue city, where the houses in the old town are actually painted blue in honor of Shiva.

After a train ride where I felt almost frozen and a short break at the hostel, I took a "Blue City Walking Tour" with the hostel. It was okay, with a very nice spot for the sunset. Sitting by the fire on the rooftop in the evening and talking to people was the end of the day.

The next morning, I went to Mehrangarh Fort, with beautifully decorated rooms, weapons, and lots of luxury. But if you visit forts in almost every city in Rajasthan, certain elements repeat themselves. However, I would rank the fort in Jodhpur at the top.

After that, I had to pack my packet. So I organized a wonderful box from some store, packed the stuff, and off I went, 3.5km to the train station where the post office is located. Because I'm too stingy to spend a euro on the ride, I naturally walk. When I arrived there, I was told that I can't send the packet like this, it has to be sewn in white fabric and then sealed with wax... There's a gentleman who offers this kind of service, and because I had no choice, I went to him. The whole thing cost me 10€ and took 1 1/2 hours. Then I wanted to go back to the post office, which is open until 5 p.m. (it was 4:30 p.m. at the time), but the branch stops accepting packets at 4 p.m. But I also didn't want to have the packets accepted by UPS or FedEx at twice the price from the guy who packs the packets, so I started heading back.

All day long I was thinking about jumping into the stepwell in Jodhpur. So when I brought the packet to the hostel completely pissed off, I knew it wasn't a bad idea to clear my head with a little swim.

So let's go! On the way, an Indian man and his son offer me a ride on their motorcycle in the direction of the stepwell. When I get on, my wonderful yoga pants tear in the crotch, but who cares...? When I arrived at the well, I asked a group of Indians if they could look after my backpack and film the whole thing. So quickly up to the jumping point, at a height of 12-15 meters, without much thought, and there I go! It felt like flying for more than 10 meters, and on the second jump, I (probably) wisely couldn't find the courage for a backward somersault from up there. Anyway, the mood was good again after that.

The next morning, I was the first at the post office, I was able to drop off the packet without any problems, and I even got the bus to Udaipur that I wanted to take without going to the post office.
