Day 16 Georgia - Trip to Asureti/Elisabethtal and Tbilisi

Today we first went to Asureti. The place was called Elisabethtal until the early 1940s and was founded by German settlers in 1818.

In addition to visiting the still existing German cemetery, we also walked through the side streets in search of the houses of the ancestors of one of my favorite colleagues. Greetings to him...

Then we continued to Tbilisi.

Arriving there, we took the cable car to the mountain, then leisurely walked down and strolled through the city center.

Interesting city, I liked it.
