Hello my dears ♥
In February, I went to London for a long weekend with a friend. It started off quite chaotic, as I overslept as usual and we almost missed our flight...Fortunately, everything turned out fine in the end.
You could easily spend 3 weeks in London without getting bored. Since we were only there for a long weekend, we decided to take a city tour on the typical London double-decker buses. This way, we were able to see a lot of London in a short amount of time.
If you're in London, you won't be able to miss the main attractions such as the London Eye, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, and the Tower Bridge. These giants simply cannot be overlooked.
We got off the bus tour at the typical stops, including the Hyde Park.
This park is simply beautiful! We were also very lucky with the weather. It wasn't particularly warm, but the sun was always shining. We relaxed here for a bit and took a nice walk through the park. We noticed that there are quite a few squirrels here. One of them jumped up my pant leg because it thought I had food in my hand. They are very friendly and always happy to have something to eat.
From Hyde Park, we walked about 20 minutes to Buckingham Palace.

Kings Cross / Platform 9 3/4
Harry Potter
We all know that Harry reaches platform 9 3/4 from Kings Cross station and from there, he boards the Hogwarts Express.
This platform was actually set up there and you can also find the matching luggage trolley and of course the sign "Platform 9 3/4". So if you can't or don't want to go to the Harry Potter Studios, you can still experience a little bit of Harry Potter feeling here. It's all free, but be prepared for a long queue. That's why we only took a photo of the "Platform 9 3/4" without getting in line.
I'm not the biggest Harry Potter fan, but I still wanted to see this.

I also highly recommend making a little detour to Jamie Oliver's. The food here is simply amazing!!!
If you're in London for a longer period of time like we were, I definitely recommend exploring the small charming streets. It all looks so beautiful and you'll find the best restaurants, cafes, and bars here.
Finally, I can only say that London is a wonderful city and I will definitely visit it again!!!
Best regards,
Your Anna ♥
