Tag 28 Santa Marta - Bogota Tonight we made a big decision

We are becoming frequent flyers here. I already feel quite guilty, but I also know that I may never come back to this region. And that was exactly the reason for the decision. I thought long and hard about it, read about it, and it didn't let me go. Do you know that feeling?

From Sunday on, we will visit the Galapagos Islands for almost 2 weeks. There was no report that was negative. I thought to myself, now that we're already relatively close, Machu Picchu had to be canceled, so this is hopefully a good option.

I'm really looking forward to it.

But now stop, because tomorrow the next adventure is up, and I'm also very excited about that. Tomorrow we fly to Leticia, which is the Colombian city in the tri-border area of the Amazon. From there we will take a boat to Puerto Narino. This is where our selected 4-day tour of the Amazon begins. Swallowed malaria tablets, calmed down diarrhea, hope everything goes well and we don't become fish food 😅.
