Lake Campotosto

Monday 5.6. (69.2 km / 1300 hm)

Since no one can tell us which roads are closed or open due to last year's earthquake, we drive to Terni and then take the train to l'Aquila.

From there we go up to Lake Campotoso..

Patrick - always following his nose - practically smells his favorite beer and suddenly, boom, Volker and Anita are in front of us:)

You can sleep for free here by the lake, so we stay with the nice company for another 2 days, drink the keg of beer that Patrick smelled, and enjoy the time...
