Good morning âïž we just landed in Cape Town with 23 degrees and sunshine đŹ
And what can you say... just do it, it could be good đAnd it turned out more than good 𫶠The first impression is great đ€©
After the last few weeks before departure were characterized by so much stress and illness, we were really worried about whether we would actually be able to go. Luckily we were able to start our journey yesterday đ„°
AIRPORT. At Frankfurt Airport everything worked really smoothly and simply. A lot of consideration was given to the kids. After a quick snack and a walk around the playground, we boarded the plane.
FLIGHT.We were warmly welcomed on the plane with cuddly toys, pillows and blankets. Leo fell asleep before take-off and only woke up shortly before landing with just a short break to drink đ€© We had a small baby bed in front of our seats and therefore had our hands free and lots of space and legroom đ€© Anni did a great job too. First we had something delicious for dinner, then a short Paw Patrol session on her âownâ TV (of course she was blown away) and then she took an almost 8-hour nap đ€© It worked out great, as we got fourth place in the row was also free. So Anni had enough space and a comfortable bed. Then it was only two hours until landing, which flew by really quickly with part 2 of the film and breakfast. Basti and I were also able to sleep wellđSo all concerns are completely unfounded đđŒ
Alternatively, we would have had enough snacks, activity materials and a âsurprise bagâ. But this time we didn't need anything. So conclusion⊠night flight đđ»
A little tired but happy and full of anticipation, we are now starting our South African adventure with a few days in Cape Town đ«¶
