Today is our last day of the trip. Tomorrow we fly home. So we had to make some distance towards Denver, Colorado. Initially, we traveled nicely along the valley of the Colorado River. We had lunch at a lovely rest area by the Colorado River on Interstate 70. Then we headed up into the Rockies. We crossed two mountain passes at 3000 m high and ended up at 2650 m in Georgetown at our hotel. We had a great meal and then it was time for serious packing. The many souvenirs take up quite a bit of space. Then all the alcohol supplies need to be consumed. Tomorrow we'll go about 30 miles to Colorado. There we want to visit the parliament and then head to the airport, where our flight is scheduled to depart at 5:35 PM. Now I say goodbye until the next blog, and many thanks to all the interested, loyal readers.
