Day 360 - back in Chiang Mai

Hello everyone

Today it was time for us to say goodbye to the beautiful, remote Pai and return to Chiang Mai.

In the morning we took our time again, packed up all our things and enjoyed the great view again with a cigarette.

At around 11:00 a.m. we started: check out and departure!

The journey went absolutely smoothly and after two hours of driving we took a lunch break at a restaurant on the road. As always, the food was delicious and we tried something new: spring rolls with ham and cheese! We are undecided whether we should find the combination top or flop - on the one hand it is somehow delicious and on the other hand it doesn't really go together...

After dinner we drove for the last hour and reached the hotel at exactly 3:00 p.m.

When we checked in, we were offered a free airport transfer for tomorrow, which we accepted very gratefully! Great, now everything should work out until the plane tomorrow ☺️

Our room is once again really sweet and pretty, we are really happy ☺️

At 5:00 p.m. the lady from the car rental company came and picked up the rental car. Everything was completely uncomplicated and easy, it was a great experience!

A little later we walked through a huge shopping center and ate the worst food we ever had in Thailand. Fries, with different flavoring powders… The same thing with some kind of chicken nuggets and something else strange 😁.

Now it's 9 p.m. and we're making ourselves comfortable because we have to get out early tomorrow.
