This was the longest of our trips through Thailand so far, as we leave the eventful north and head straight to the south. With the minibus from Pai to Chiang Mai, where we slept before, continuing by bus to the airport and from Chiang Mai by plane to Bangkok. Here, we quickly changed planes and went directly to Krabi. However, we were not yet at the end of our journey, as we definitely wanted to go to Ao Nang Beach, which is slightly outside of Krabi. So we took a taxi from the airport for about 40 minutes (for €7.50). When we checked into our hostel, we were really exhausted.
It was very exciting to see in Chiang Mai how the locals gave food and sweets to the monks at half past seven in the morning. We didn't understand it, but it seemed to be a normal ritual that happens more often.
