A few days have passed. On Monday, I went to Coquimbo to visit one of my aunts and my cousins. They live above Coquimbo on the hills, Los Cerros. I surprised them. A friend of theirs picked me up at the terminal and didn't tell them anything. We drove up in the car and waited outside the door until one of my cousins came out. The surprise worked.
Then we went straight to my aunt's house, where another cousin of mine lives and another one is visiting from Argentina. I have been here for 3 days now, enjoying the family atmosphere, a nice homecoming. After years, I also saw my cousin who lives in Argentina again.
The next day, I went down to the beach with one of my cousins - finally the sea.
Unfortunately, there were many jellyfish washed up on the beach, so we couldn't swim. We then walked along the beach to La Serena, where we visited our cousin at work in a restaurant. After the other two cousins arrived, we set off to find a meeting that I had on the flight from Santiago to Paris. A girl who is an acrobat in the circus and told me that she would be in La Serena for 3 months.
Unfortunately, I had lost her address. With her last name, the only clue I had left, we actually found her. My cousins found the search more exciting than I did :-) It was the second circus, unbelievable.
She came out and couldn't believe that I found her, and she immediately invited us all to her performance, which started an hour later. So my cousins and I had a nice evening and I had a great reunion. We made plans to go to the beach together. However, the next evening, we celebrated my cousin's birthday first. Since my cousins accompanied our cousin from Argentina to say goodbye in Santiago, I have been living with the acrobat/meet from the flight in the circus in her caravan, which is right behind the circus tent. The show is free.
When everyone is free and doesn't have to practice, we go to the beach together. Everyone is very kind and open. We eat together, talk, laugh... a beautiful experience of true family feeling.
See you later
