I pack my van…

…and take with me:

1 roof tent

14 underpants

3 running shoes

2 bicycles

and a baby.

Easy peasy lemon squeezy. The packing list got longer every day and it took us 3 days to pack the bus completely. But hey, now with the roof box, new stylish wall shelf and sliding door storage boxes, everything fits in. The bus has never looked so adventurous and we have never felt so adventurous either.

Our first big trip with a baby. Our first big trip with Lore, who until recently thought driving was pretty stupid. So what could go wrong?

First stop.

Eva's parents. A leisurely 5.5 hour drive if you're driving without a 6-month-old child. With Lore and traffic jams it took 7 hours, but hey! She "only" cried twice and otherwise slept or had fun with her toys. Best ride ever. Even the first time at McCes! Happy Meals will be available at another time.

Now we are at Eva's parents' house and are hoping for warmer weather. Current temperature at night: 0 degrees. 🥶

Oh well. We're getting the down sleeping bag and the auxiliary heating sorted. We're excited about the first night, which will take place on a vineyard in Luxembourg. Until then, we'll relax at our grandparents'.
