Right at the beginning I have to say, I am impressed and I will definitely come back. However, living in such a city is unimaginable for me. On the streets, you move in a whirlwind of people and you just get carried away. Almost like being remote-controlled, the mass moves from traffic light to traffic light, all equipped with a smartphone and headset, looking down.
In the many small bars and restaurants, people are busy with their numerous DEVICES - laptop - tablet - smartphone. Certainly quite normal in such a lively, large, modern city and yet alarming for a country person like me.
We are staying in a super classy small hotel, Ecke Principal Place not far from the center. Point A Hotel Liverpool Street!
In the restaurant at Principal Place you can really eat quickly and deliciously ... just around the corner, across the street.
Soooo .... We arrived at the hotel, changed, freshened up and off we go. Towards Tower Bridge .... What luck that we arrived late in the evening, so we could also experience the magic of the lights in such a big city. Everything looks so different and so much more beautiful than in daylight. Although I have to say the city is really clean! The way to the goal was already impressive. The many modern buildings and in between houses, churches, and corners that tell stories. I have to free myself from the whirlpool and constantly stop ... marvel ... take pictures ...< br />
