The market in Masaya

Today after a relaxed breakfast we went to Masaya. The small city near Granada is known for its market. It was just crazy there. There were countless stalls where you could buy everything. The raw chicken legs were next to the socks and right next to it was a mountain of pineapples. The heat and the narrow aisles made the situation even worse and so there was a beastly stench in some places. After wandering around in the labyrinth of narrow corridors for over an hour, we finally found the handicrafts department. Here we felt more comfortable right away and shopped like crazy.
