Scotland's Highlands are our destination

2nd/3rd June. Just in time, Klaus reached us, now the three of us can cycle in the Highlands. We spend a whole day on the highland plateau, isolated and peaceful, surrounded by pure nature in every direction. Only a few cars and motorcycles disturb us, but it's okay.

We only see a few houses and some sheep here and there - sparse vegetation, wide views - it's pure relaxation. In the late afternoon, we reach the North Sea... in the fog. The temperature drops several degrees in the fog, we have to put on warm clothes. In Bettyhill, we find a hotel - to our surprise, the lady in charge speaks German, and we quickly check in... a cozy pub, good food... a beautiful day comes to an end.
