Next Stop Slovenia: Bled

The next morning we take the bus from Ljubljana to Bled and arrive at the small bus station after about an hour and a half. From there we go to the hostel where we get numerous tips for activities in the area. Since it's still early, we head straight to Lake Bled.

We walk halfway around the picturesque lake and then turn into the forest to reach two viewpoints (tip from our hostel father ☺).

A good view is not free, it goes steeply uphill on a footpath, first to the Ojstrica viewpoint, about 20 minutes from the shore.

We start the descent - Attention: very (!) steep stairs ☺ - and walk comfortably along the shore back to Bled.

After a delicious burger, we return to the hostel where we end the evening comfortably and with our feet up.
