On to Martinborough & more wine

After breakfast we went to the bakery in Hastings and got some nice bread. It was slightly drizzling and foggy, but we still walked to Te Mata Peak. A short stretch up the mountain and you saw: unfortunately nothing :/ Too bad breading.

We drove to Martinborough as planned, a long drive but towards the sun.

Shortly before closing time we made it to a winery: Schubert Wines. There was a small tasting there and we took some wine with us.

Then we drove to our first top 10 campsite because it was the only one in town. This is a larger chain, but it wasn't anything special here at the moment. The showers were really good for us, given the heat here. Summer feeling yay. I washed a bag of laundry in the heat and it was dry again in the evening.

We ended the day with wine and a delicious dinner. After I fall asleep with E, I usually wake up again and this time I looked at the stars. Really nice, easy to see even with your head out of the camper :D
