From Northcliffe, we decided to take an offroad 4x4 track, the Boorara Drive. This saved us 70km of highway and we had more fun. The road was actually good for driving and led us through the Boorara-Gardner National Park to Walpole. In Walpole, we got to admire the huge Giant Tingle Trees. We decided to do the bush walk. There was also the option to walk on a glass bridge through the trees and then climb a tree without any safety measures (with a kind of ladder). Since we decided against climbing without any safety measures, we saved ourselves the entrance fee of $21 per person (totally overpriced).
For sleeping, we drove to a farm just before Denmark. There we could shower again and later Padi made a warming campfire. That was our first campfire on the road trip, as there is a risk of forest fires everywhere else.
