1. Vacation Rental - Keauhou, Kailua-Kona, Big Island

We stayed in a luxurious apartment at the Kona Country Club. The apartments are located right next to a well-maintained golf course. So whenever we sat on the terrace, we could always watch the golfers 🙂.

The apartment had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large kitchen, a dining room, a living room, and a covered terrace. Each room had large ceiling fans and the bedroom had air conditioning. The apartment was also equipped with 3 televisions, one of which even had Netflix. So at least Mick could watch some movies in German.

The club had 3 swimming pools with a whirlpool. From there, we had a great view of the ocean.

The property was about 8 miles away from downtown Kona. We had a shopping center within walking distance and great beaches.

There were geckos 🦎 everywhere, so it wasn't surprising that one would occasionally come into the apartment. 🙂
