Airport

Now almost nothing can go wrong. This morning everything was very relaxed. With a heavy heart, we brought the dogs with us. However, they were very excited to come to their beloved Mr. Graf on the Kniebis. No traffic jam, car handover via valet parking (which I can really recommend. As far as I know, it is the cheapest and fastest way to park your car at the airport. It is taken upon departure and when you have landed, you call the guy and when you come out, the car is waiting for you at the door.)

It took us about 2 hours for the handling, but that's just normal at the moment and since we had enough time, unlike many others, we didn't have any stress. Now we are sitting at the gate trying out all the flight hacks that I have obtained and wanted. Elia spontaneously fell in love with the super darkening sleep mask. Let's see if I get it back on the flight. Really every cent is worth it is also my inflatable neck pillow. I wished for it for my birthday and already tried it out on the train ride with the ICE to Hamburg. I was so excited that I even bought it for Marco. Noah has one from Tchibo and Elia has his ranger pillow. With a 12-hour flight (and the return flight is a night flight) I want to be able to sleep at least a little.

So, we're off. But you're with us, which makes me very happy. I don't know if I can write every day. Our plan is currently as follows:

We will spend the first and last night in San José. Tomorrow we will get a rental car and a Costa Rican mobile phone. I will write another time about how we came to that. Then we will be in La Fortuna, near a volcano, for 2 days and then decide spontaneously. We haven't booked anything. We have a rough route.

I will write in the evenings on the days when I have Wi-Fi. If not, you just have to wait. 😅
