Hello dear ones,
We made a 3-day trip from Cromwell to Glenorchy via Queenstown to Kingston and then to Te Anau.
Glenorchy is a small community adjacent to Lake Wakatipu. We spent a night there and took a walk through a lagoon. We saw many black swans there and a group of people riding horses. After that, we went to the 'harbor'. Actually, it's just a small spot where you can launch boats into the water. There was nothing special about it, except that there was a fisherman's house with information boards about its history and luckily, on the same day, there was a vintage car meeting. So we were able to admire some beautiful cars as well. We grabbed a coffee from a small cafe and then drove to Queenstown. In Queenstown, we just quickly did some shopping (I finally got my GoPro :D) and then went straight to Kingston. Kingston is also a very small village and only 40 minutes away from Queenstown. That's why the campsite is much cheaper than in Queenstown. Although, to be honest, everything is expensive in Queenstown anyway. In Kingston, we made another itinerary, did some laundry, chilled on the beach, and so on... After a short break of 2 days, we set off to Te Anau.
