Tawharanui Regional Park

About 60 kilometers north of Auckland and less than an hour's drive:Tawharanui Regional Park ! Great for hiking and especially for listening to and admiring birdsong. In recent years, native bird species have been reintroduced here and it is teeming with large and small birds everywhere. In addition to the gentle sound of waves and a landscape reminiscent of Cornwall and Devon in southern England, there are also many different bird songs. Awesome!
