Today there was not much on our agenda. We scanned some documents onto our USB sticks using the internet cafe located only about 50m away, 'stole' internet from Carl's Jr. again, and in the evening we cooked pasta with broccoli in a light sauce.

We got up extra early because we had an appointment at the bank this morning to open a bank account (we are with ANZ). Then we wanted to apply for our tax number right away. We had read the day before that this could be done online, so yesterday we had all the necessary documents scanned. To avoid going to Carl's Jr. again - so we could enjoy free internet again - we went to Wendy's this time, where we bought overpriced food only to realize in frustration that we couldn't apply for the tax number online after all.
So we walked back to our hostel, where we had our documents printed out, filled out the application and went to the post office with it.
Afterwards, we went shopping again and then - because the weather was surprisingly good - we sat by the harbor.

The next day, we met up with our former roommate Andrea and sat down in a cafe for two hours and chatted. Despite the rainy weather, it was very cozy and nice to see her again.
In the evening, we walked to a supermarket where we bought cookies and water to sit by the harbor and enjoy the fantastic view of a sea of lights.

We checked out of the hostel at nine because today our new wwoofer job was waiting for us. Gorilla garden. Sounds promising.
