City tour, skyline, Cootha Lookout

Yes, Brisbane is quite big and really nice. We actually found a free campsite on the outskirts where we spent three nights have.been. On the first day, of course, we did a bit of sightseeing, explored the city center, did some shopping, and went out for food.

Brisbane reminded us of Perth for a short time, but in the end it is quite different. The 'South Bank' district was our favorite, with a lagoon overlooking the skyline, lots of green areas to relax, and a few cafes. There is also a huge 'Brisbane' sign that lights up at night!

The skyline is much more beautiful at night than during the day. On the first evening, everything was perfect. We sat in the greenery, had a fantastic view of the skyline, there was live music in the background, just perfect.

We later went to the Cootha Lookout on Cootha Mountain, where you can see the whole city and we could take some amazing pictures. On the second day, we just wanted to relax by the lagoon, but it rained all day. That's okay, it was fun to swim in the rain. We wanted to take a harbor cruise, but somehow we weren't really interested anymore. We didn't even upload a photo of the lagoon, but hey, the photos from the lookout are even more beautiful. We are slowly becoming experts at using the self-timer :-D
