26.11.2015 Fraser Island, 3rd Day

Lake McKenzie

Last morning, last day. Today we didn't spend much time on the beach. We haven't seen the highlight of Fraser Island yet (apart from the shipwreck). The Lake McKenzie, a freshwater lake with white sand and crystal blue water. So we made our way back through the inland. High sand, deep ruts, and mud that you sink into. No problem, our car handled it perfectly. Today at the lake we even saw a dingo, we thought we were on Fraser Island and didn't see any. There's a sign with 'protect yourself from dingoes', etc. every three meters. Three beautiful days are over and we're back in Hervey Bay. We didn't do much besides driving but we're really exhausted tonight.
