Tambo-Kimbiri is a dusty affair

We started relatively fresh and in good spirits today. For breakfast, we had boiled eggs and boiled potatoes at a roadside stand. Then it was uphill first and then a lot downhill. From 3840 meters to 600 meters. Sounds great, but unfortunately the gravel sections got longer and eventually the asphalt ran out completely. It was a terrible rumble and it took us forever. Along the way, I had to reattach my bags a few times, one hook had come undone completely. My brake didn't survive this hellish ride, but Kai will take care of it tomorrow. He is already lying next to me, slumbering away. The next part of our journey takes us to Santa Teresa. And from there, we want to visit Machu Picchu.
