I really wanted to go to Cork, the other tourist tours only offered day trips where you hardly spend any time in Cork, so we thought it would be a good idea to do the tour with SK Dublin. It definitely wasn't. On the way to Cork, we just waited on the hard shoulder of the motorway for the second bus from SK Dublin, we even had a smoke break, you only see that in Ireland. When we finally arrived in Cork with a lot of delay, the stupid bus driver in Cork got lost about 100 times when we wanted to go to the University of Cork. At some point, we were all so annoyed by it and said we don't want to see the university anymore, we want to go straight to Cork. When we finally arrived in Cork, it was already quite late, we could only visit 2 out of the 3 sights because the other one was already closed. Stupid Irish people can't get anything right, they should really learn punctuality and organization from the Germans.
In Cork, we visited St. Finn Bar's Church, it wasn't anything special. We also wanted to visit St. Anne's Church, but it was already closed. There we could have heard bells again. We also briefly visited the English Food Market, English and food, my expectations weren't very high, but the market was definitely worth it. We had delicious fish sandwiches, the salmon spread wasn't as good as Silvia's, but still good.
In the evening, we went for cocktails and then went to our bed and breakfast, because in this lifetime you won't catch me in a hostel again!!!
