2022-June-Binz for hikers - Part 2 - Rügen Nature Heritage Center with treetop walkway

Just about 2 km away from the famous former KdF buildings, there is a new attraction in Rügen: the Rügen Nature Heritage Center.

The flagship of the park is certainly the treetop walkway, which has a length of 1,250 meters. We found it particularly well done because it was built to be accessible throughout and the inclines are maximum 6%. That's wonderful and doable for everyone. We also saw many families with strollers and wheelchair users here.

At a height of up to 17 meters, you are sometimes even above the treetops and can enjoy the view. You can also see the 'Strength Through Joy (KdF)' buildings and the Baltic Sea on the horizon.
