West Coast Sweden 5th July-12th July 2022/8th July

Today we visit the place Smögen, which is located about 38 kilometers south of Fjällbacka. The small town is located on the island of the same name on the west coast. The island is connected to the mainland by the 500-meter-long bridge Smögenbron, which was completed in 1970. In Smögen, you can explore the beauty of Sweden in just one small place. Along the granite rocks known for the landscape of western Sweden, the almost one-kilometer-long Smögenbryggan winds its way. Colorful fishermen's and storage houses, boat sheds, restaurants, boutiques, and souvenir shops stand on stilts along the wooden promenade directly on the marina. Many Swedes and Norwegians come here in the summer months. In the off-season between October and April, photographers and friends of peace come to Smögen, then only the local fishermen are on the move. We enjoy the evening with a fine dinner on our beautiful terrace.
