We are feeling under the weather

This morning we all felt a bit under the weather. We wondered how Vale was feeling, so we wrote to her. We received a reply saying that she and her family have a sore throat. We ended up catching it too. Heike also had ear problems and Christian had a persistent cough. So we took the day easy.

Christian studied with the kids, while Heike explored the island's various beaches and cafes with Jeani.

In the evening, we were treated to a delicious meal again. Afterwards, we were able to listen to a piano and violin concert by Jeani's children.

After this musical performance, we went to bed feeling uplifted. The room where we slept had some children's books. We knew many of them and they brought back pleasant memories. Heike found an Olchi book that was missing from our collection. So she took the opportunity to fill this gap in our education and read the book to the family in the evening.
