For most Q12 students in Bavaria, the last weekend of the autumn break means last-minute seminar paper stress. And what does that have to do with me in Singapore? Well, even at the other end of the world, I haven't been spared the honor of proofreading Simon's seminar paper.

So on Saturday, I chose a new café, Café Populus (once again a hit), and settled in with my laptop and a delicious cup of Coffee Gibraltar. Thanks Simon, it wasn't necessary for you to invite me for coffee ;-).

In the afternoon, I picked up Marina at our apartment (poor thing is writing her master's thesis in addition to her full-time internship here in Singapore) and we went to the National Museum together. The perfect program for a rainy Saturday afternoon.

The museum is amazing! It even managed to impress two museum-haters like Marina and me ;-)

Especially the large exhibition about the history of Singapore is really interesting.

Afterwards, we met Su Jun for dinner at a Japanese restaurant before heading to Club Street - THE expat nightlife district in Singapore. And for that reason, it's the only place where you can actually sit outside a bar in the open air and enjoy the mild night - for real locals, that's unimaginable because there's no air conditioning outside... Well, hard to believe, but we really enjoyed the evening outdoors.
