Our school trip took us to Italy. Our hotel was at Lake Garda. From there, we went on excursions, such as a day trip to Venice or a day trip to Verona. At first, I thought it might be boring at Lake Garda, but there are also beautiful spots there. Our hotel was located 10 minutes away from Lake Garda. We spent the first day at Lake Garda.
On the second day, we went to Venice. We took a somewhat shaky boat there. First, we had a guided tour of the city and then we had the chance to explore the city on our own, which is definitely worth seeing. The funny thing was: Our friend has a phobia of pigeons. This is quite challenging in Venice. We often had to take a little detour, which was actually quite funny in retrospect.
On the next day, we went to Verona. Here, too, we had a guided tour first and then had the day to ourselves. For example, we visited the famous Romeo and Juliet garden. The buildings in Verona are a bit older than in Venice, but Verona is also a beautiful city, although not a "must" like Venice.
On the third day, we took a tour to the mountain. Here, we had a very nice view over Lake Garda.
On the day before departure, we went to Gardaland.
