Bula bula Fiji

The Fiji Islands was my first destination where I had no idea what to expect. Maybe that's why I was so pleasantly surprised.

Most of the time, I stayed on the island of Nananu-i-Ra, where only 20 other people live. It was like paradise. After Los Angeles and New York, it was quite unusual to only hear the sound of the sea at night. The stars were also incredibly visible here. We harvested fresh coconuts, papayas, passion fruits, and much more every day. Kayaking tours, diving in the coral reef, going crab hunting, parties with the locals... all of this made Fiji unforgettable for me.
