Day 18 - 11.06.2019 - Schmidolin's baptism of fire

Today we took the areitXpress cable car up to the Schmittenhöhe. But before that, we picked up adventure passes for the children and a backpack carrier for Juliane at the valley station. Once we reached the top, we enjoyed the fantastic view before continuing on the 'Schmidolin's baptism of fire' adventure trail. The children had to complete various activities at a total of 15 stations in order to find firestones and record their color in the adventure pass. As a reward, they received a certificate at the end. After completing the trail, we took a break in the Areit Lounge to recharge. Very elegant with a great view.

In the afternoon, we went to the indoor pool again, as the children love swimming pools. The lakeside beaches were not suitable today due to the unpredictable and windy weather, and the lake itself is quite cold at 18 °C. In the evening, we planned to watch the 'Magic at the Lake' laser show at 10pm. Unfortunately, it was canceled due to the weather conditions (strong winds), and the children were quite disappointed as tomorrow we will be leaving and won't have another chance to see the laser show.
