Tag 20/21 - The Black Forest experience

From Freiburg to Oppenau & from Oppenau to Schwarzenbach-Talsperre 

- after having crossed some good mountain passes in France and Switzerland, the Black Forest with its partly super steep climbs turned out to be the true challenge of the trip, but a very beautiful one

- camping the first night, I asked at a house if I could stay nearby, got the permission, my water refilled and even an invitation for breakfast the next morning (Sunday); there are still really good people on this planet 🙏🏼

- next day I enjoyed a more than complete breakfast and tips for the area and cycled up to Mummelsee and the view point on top (Hornisgrinde), pretty steep again in parts, but super worth it, especially because meeting 2 guys with Rose bikes from Berlin on top ;) 

- after the descend I arrived to Schwarzenbach-Talsperre, spend afternoon and night there and had the first night with the full tent put up (instead of only the inner part) on the whole trip! 

Distance cycled: 75 & 60km (approx)

 

Weather: sunny, some clouds, a little rain in the second night
