New York, New York. 🌃

Ben sings a lot like Frank Sinatra. Unfortunately, we can't insert an audio file here, but you can just imagine it: I want to be a part of it. New York, New York. 🎶

Let's start from the beginning: suitcases were packed, excitement was definitely present. Pre-check-in didn't work, negative corona test, favorite Steffi drove us to the airport, and then we had the tickets in hand. Marie was a little sad because we couldn't choose our seats and there was a fear of sitting next to the toilet.

But nothing really wild anymore. Everything was on time and we were in London in no time. It was raining outside and it was also a small world tour from one terminal to another, and when we finally boarded the huge plane, Marie was sad again: there were four seats in the middle row and we had exactly the middle seats. BUT: we had the whole row to ourselves, and that was fantastic! We watched movies right away and for some reason we arrived 1 hour earlier than planned. The security check took the longest, but they let us in. They didn't think that through very well. 🤭

We reached our hotel in Chinatown with the Airtrain and the subway. On the way there, there were also small corners where it smelled like cooked dog 🐶. But our hotel is nice, great location, clean, and has an incredibly great view.

But tonight we won't be able to have a cocktail. Off to bed! It's going to be an exciting journey that is just beginning, and for that, it's important to be well-rested. We hope to avoid jet lag and start directly tomorrow. 🥰!
