Day 11 - Boat Tour

Today we went on a very special excursion. We sailed in a Chinese junk to the Phang Nga Bay with its total of 42 small and large islands. First, we switched to a smaller "longtail boat" and then our first stop was the "James Bond Island". Part of the film "The Man with the Golden Gun" (1974) was shot here. We continued through mangrove forests to a completely stilted Muslim village. Afterwards, we returned to our junk, where a delicious, self-cooked Thai meal awaited us. We drove back towards the harbor, but made a stop for swimming on the way. All in all, it was a really great excursion that we can recommend to everyone.
