So dear kindred spirits, friends and eager readers, it's been another year and our new, hopefully entertaining travel report opens a new chapter. It took four attempts at our trusted travel agency (a heartfelt thank you to Mr. Kitzmann for your patience) until our destination, no, our destinations for this year were decided.

It's not easy in today's world. Thanks to the many crazy people in the world, the possible travel destinations are getting fewer and fewer. And the few that are left are becoming more and more expensive. And then there's the question, is it even still modern to travel, considering the climate crisis? Maybe even to fly! Do you know that feeling when the angel is sitting on one shoulder and saying: think about the generation after you, they also want to breathe fresh air and drink clean water and not see Hannover as a port city. And on the other side, the devil says: it doesn't matter, there's still so much beauty to see. You, Schahaatz, and Germany won't save the world. Get on the plane, the last shirt has no pocket, nature will survive - humans just have to adapt.

As you can see, it's hard for us to find a suitable destination. As I said, it took 4 attempts - now it's decided, after all the pros and cons. So it won't be a bike tour to the Harz Mountains with camping, but a week

Vancouver Island in Canada's west - 4 weeks island-hopping in Hawaii - and finally 2 weeks in Canada's east with Montreal- Quebec City and Nova Scotia.

We're happy to take you out into the world and hope to amuse you again this time with our experiences, stories, facts, and images. We're happy to sacrifice our money and our health to report from distant lands, so you don't all have to travel individually but still know how beautiful it is there. That is active climate protection 😉
