Tag 99: Valley of the Moon

With Tobias reunited, we set off on another tour today. We started with a small minibus to the 'Valle de la Luna' (Valley of the Moon). With an experienced guide, we hiked through the vegetation-less area for a few hours to admire the incredible dune, rock, and salt formations. Afterwards, we continued by bus to the nearby and very similar 'Valle de la Muerte' (Valley of Death) to watch the sunset with hundreds of other tourists and marvel at the reddish illuminated rock formations. We spent the evening with a large group of nice people from our hostel. We all went to a bar together, had some drinks, something to eat, and had interesting conversations.
