Tag 14/15

On Friday, I am always at the children's home in the morning, I walked with the little one and another child to the new house that is being built.

Right after that, I drove 2 1/2 hours up north. I met Lea and David in an Airbnb that I had booked for two nights.

As I was almost there, I slipped on the sand in the last curve and fell over my scooter. But it wasn't too bad 😅 so far I only have bruises, otherwise I'm doing fine ☺️

I was then welcomed with welcome shots (Arak - Balinese palm liquor) by the owner and we spent the evening together with him ☺️

On the first night, after 2 hours of sleep, we went on a sunrise hike to Mount Batur volcano. It started at 3:30 a.m., when we were picked up by a guide in a jeep. Then we hiked about an hour up. It was very exhausting 😂 because the path was very rocky, sandy, and steep.

At the top of the volcano, we had a banana toast, egg, and coffee. We enjoyed the sunrise and then hiked back down.

That was roughly as exhausting. 😅

After that, I slept a bit and on Saturday evening, we went to a hot spring to bathe.

The owner showed us a lot there, he also bought extra beer for us, but afterwards, Lea and David didn't feel so well (they have constant stomach problems here from the food) and went to bed early.

So far, I have been tolerating the food very well here 😅
