Day 7- From today please drive on the left ;-)

Sleeping in until 09:30, having breakfast at Ibis Hotel and then walking to the Jucy Car rental, in sunny but very windy weather. There we pick up our Green-Violet car - have a look at the photos yourself :-)

After a short instruction, we start driving towards Remuera campground, but first we go to the nearby supermarket 'countdown'. There we do a big grocery shopping. Yves won in 'rock-paper-scissors' and tries driving on the left first. Occasionally using the windshield wipers instead of the turn signal, but otherwise everything goes well. Due to the large surface area of the camper, we can feel the wind with its gusts quite well on the highway. After a 20-minute drive, we have already arrived at the first campground and set up for two nights. Then we prepare our vegetable risotto in the fixed camping kitchen. To digest, we take a short walk in Remuera to find out about the bus connections.

Finally, it's time to plan tomorrow's day in Auckland before we close the hatches and go to bed ;-)
