Day 6 - Monastery of Archangel Michael, Limenaria, and Panagia - 07/09/2020

After a hearty breakfast and uploading numerous pictures here, we set off to visit the nun's monastery of Archangel Michael.

Since it is understandably not allowed to take pictures inside the monastery, you will only find a few from the outside today.

The monastery is definitely worth a visit.

Afterwards, we attempted to reach the sea in the adjacent bay, but here we saw the effects of the recent severe storms that were hardly noticeable elsewhere. The path had been washed away and was full of giant boulders.

Therefore, we decided to go shopping in Limenaria and then had a drink in a tavern at the harbor.

Just off Limenaria, you will find the old Speidel factory (from the company Speidel in Pforzheim). The old mansion had fascinated me for quite some time, so we took a closer look at it this time.

After Limenaria, we decided to spend a little more money and went to Panagia to replenish my olive soap supply. We also got a few more things there, and then we had a leisurely and delicious meal.

Then it was back to the accommodation to wind down for the evening.
