Day 14 - Beach, Beach, and a lot of drinking - 17.07.2020

Waking up refreshed and preparing a cozy breakfast. As usual, Eve had a hot coffee and I had a frappe. We had scrambled eggs and toast. Our kitchen is filled with an army of tiny ants that are almost invisible.

After that, I visited the somewhat cramped bathroom and shaved and showered there.

Once we were both done, we took a little drive around Nea Peramos to find my accommodation for next week.

Then, we parked the car again and walked to Dimitris Tavern to lounge on the sunbeds all day.

Dimitri took good care of us again.

Later, we treated ourselves to a plate of patates (fries) and I had a Tsatziki. Dimitri treated us to another Tsipouro on the house and later a bowl of breaded mussels :-)

Today, Eve's new seagull friend visited us again and chirped at us, begging for food. He's such an adorable little rascal that Eve would love to take with us yesterday rather than today. At least now he's eating from her hand too. This little seagull friend surrounded us all day while we were at the beach.

Of course, I went for a swim in the sea twice. I ended up with a nice sunburn from it. I stayed in the shade on the sunbeds all day, but I still got a nice tan except for my shoulder, which got sunburned.

From the beach, we strolled through Peramos for a bit, looking for anything Eve could take with her, but we didn't find anything she liked.

Then we did some shopping and on the way back, we grabbed 2 Pita Gyros, which we enjoyed immediately on the balcony of our accommodation.

Now we're enjoying our last evening together.
