Arriving in Adelaide, we chose a campground in the middle of the city. This way, we could easily walk to everything. It was drizzling, but we still set up our tent. In the afternoon, we explored the city, visiting the university, churches, the mall, and the botanical garden. At the shopping center, we treated ourselves to sushi and later went to the tavern for dinner (burgers and fish). Everywhere, it is clearly indicated what is gluten-free, and they differentiate between gluten-sensitive and celiac sufferers.
The next morning, we went back to the city for shopping. Padi needed a new pair of sunglasses. We also checked out Victoria Square, where there was a free concert. Afterwards, we went to the market and Chinatown. In the afternoon, we visited the free art museum, which was really interesting. In between, we ate a lot of sushi and other snacks. In the evening, we cooked spaghetti Bolognese.
Adelaide is a great city with about 1.2 million inhabitants. The city has a lot of charm due to its old buildings. However, there are not as many tourist attractions. We liked it a lot.
