Day 23 - September 26, 2023 Hike in Lagodekhi National Park to a waterfall

A hike in the Lagodekhi National Park was on the program. At the national park center we are briefed by a ranger and off we go. A dog accompanies us there and back, a completely new experience for us. But this will now become normal in Georgia. The path started gently, but gradually increased until it had to overcome fallen trees and very slippery paths. We take a lunch break at the waterfall and the dog also gets something to eat. At around 4 p.m. we are back at the NP center and treat ourselves to an ice cream at the Waldhotel. Then we go into the town, which doesn't offer much. A typical border town, it is only 5 km to the Azerbaijani border. We return to our blues stage and spend a cozy evening with Viktor's wine. 6811 km
