10.01.2023 From Tenterfield to Washpool NP

All morning we were attempting to equip the blog and read and listen to personal and German news.

Conclusion is, I can't access the blog with the laptop and although with the mobile phone I can read, I can't submit my information.

So the plan is, in the future I will equip the status more and offer to send reports by email, as long as I can still access my mailbox at GMX.

Today we were at three different places, first we visited a waterfall, nothing unusual, 120 steps steep downhill and uphill again after inspecting. As I said, nice to see, but nothing absolutely spectacular.

The next lookout on the other hand once again shows the vastness of the forests and the landscape, everything constrictive falls away. We look around contentedly.

Today we stay in Washpool National Park, yesterday Frank managed to reserve and pay for a spot. Previously, you could put your usage fee in an envelope and stay, today it has to be done online. We find our spot, No. 4 at the Bellbird Campground, supposedly named after a beautiful bird, and promptly two black chickens show up, looking for something to eat in close proximity. They quickly run away when we spot them and I can hear them in the bush, but can't see them.

Our NP hike is short today, a pleasant loop to the pool, along the stream flowing through the landscape and further along its bank over logs and stones. Only 3 km today, but very scenic and relaxing.

Now we have prepared for the next day, the pub and WiFi are not available today. No need to worry, it will probably get dark quickly but we have a campfire and families with children next door.
